Goals and Objectives:
The goal is to maintain a collaborative research node that will:

  1. Rigorously develop well-conceived, culturally-sensitive, and generalizable research proposals to be conducted within PECARN;
  2. Develop a priority-based research agenda to guide collaborative efforts;
  3. Provide the infrastructure to rigorously conduct observational studies and clinical trials;
  4. Provide mechanisms to disseminate research findings to EMSC practitioners and a means by which to study the effectiveness of this transfer of information; and
  5. Foster partnerships between EMSC researchers and providers.
