Title:
EMSC Cooperative Agreements for Network Development Demonstration Projects - Northeast Research Node (PEDNET)

Goals and Objectives:
The goals of PEDNET are:

  1. to enhance the capabilities of an existing research network in the conduct of definitive observational and interventional clinical research in the hospital setting,
  2. to create a model for integrating prehospital research into an existing hospital-based research infrastructure,
  3. to conduct definitive, multi-institutional hospital-based and multi-agency prehospital-based research, and
  4. to study and promote the transfer of scientific-based evidence to health systems leaders, policymakers and practitioners in all settings.
