Goals and Objectives:
Our overall goal is to improve the health of ill and injured children by contributing to generalizable knowledge gained through the conduct of rigorous, high-quality translational research. We will contribute meaningfully to all (T1-T3) phases of translational research. This will be accomplished through the following specific goals.
- To continue a research infrastructure capable of rigorous clinical research in both prehospital and hospital settings.
- To collaborate in a national network of centers to prioritize, to plan, and to conduct research through rigorously designed studies.
- To translate research results into practice through the dissemination of results from research studies conducted in the network.
