PECARN Structure

The PECARN network consists of diverse entities that represent academic, community, urban, general, and children's hospitals.

PECARN consists of four Research Node Centers (RNCs) located at sites across the country.
Each RNC includes a network of Hospital Emergency Department Affiliates (HEDAs) for a total of over 20 sites across the United States.
The PECARN network also includes a coordinating data center (CDMCC) which provides network leadership and coordination.
The network has a steering committee with equal representation from each RNC and the CDMCC.
